This ongoing photography series, titled Introspection, was made in order to replicate my own personal fascination with dreams, nightmares, and the unconscious mind. My primary goal was to investigate how dreamscapes often hide a deeper message behind seemingly random, distracting details.

In the series, I attempted to examine this randomness.

 

This series was created with a very limited color palette to allow for more individual interpretation from viewers. The minimalistic dashes of color guide the viewer toward the emotional tone of the photos. While the meaning may change for every viewer, all interpretations are welcome; the goal is to embody whatever emotion the viewers project, whether it be light or dark, joy or despair.
